The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property has announced a National Competition for the development of a Conceptual Architectural Design for the extension of the existing building of the Bar Association of Montenegro in Podgorica.
Subject and Objective of the Competition
The subject of the competition is the development of a conceptual architectural design for the extension of the existing building of the Bar Association of Montenegro, located on urban parcel UP1, within the scope of the Detailed Urban Plan “Nova Varoš 2” (“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, no. 032/18), in Podgorica.
The objective of the competition is to create a separate functional unit within the City Stadium under Gorica Hill, while preserving the visual and spatial integrity of the stadium. The existing building, which is the subject of the extension, represents an integral part of the overall architectural composition.
Special attention must be given to the proper architectural integration with the northern and eastern façades, which are currently under construction.
